About the Project

Based in Basel, Switzerland, the Javier Valdebenito Trio combines original composition and free improvisation to create deep musical dialogues rooted in the heritage of jazz while embracing contemporary sound textures.

• 3 microphones: 1 bass, 1 drums, 1 sax (or clip-on)
• Small mixing console (min. 4 channels)
• 3 stage monitors (if possible)
• Stage space ≈ 3 × 2 m
